WhoSaid (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the WhoSaid application (“the Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. You can sign in using Google OAuth or email and password.
Game History: We store your game sessions, including the game mode played, score, correct answers, streak, and category.
Progress Data: We track your belt/level progression based on your accumulated score.
Challenge Data: When you create or accept a challenge, we store the challenge code and the challenger’s score.
Local Storage (Guest Mode): If you play as a guest, your progress is saved only locally on your device (localStorage) and is not sent to our servers.
Usage Analytics: We collect anonymous analytics events to understand how the Service is used and to improve it.
We use Google OAuth as an external authentication provider. When you sign in with Google, Google shares your email address and basic profile information with us for the purpose of creating and managing your account.
We do not collect or store any real payment data at this time. The Premium plan is currently a mock activation with no real charge, used for testing purposes only. When real payments are introduced, they will be processed by a third-party payment provider and governed by a separate privacy policy.
The Service does not currently display advertisements. If advertising is introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
To provide and maintain the Service;
To display your scores in rankings and challenges;
To enable challenge sharing between users;
To track your game progress and belt/level;
To improve the Service through analytics.
Your data is stored on the Base44 platform infrastructure, which provides authentication, data storage, and hosting services.
Your display name and scores are visible to other users in rankings.
Challenge links you share contain your name and score.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Game sessions are retained to maintain your ranking and statistics.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile > Delete Account & Data. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
You can delete your account and all game data from the Profile screen at any time.
You can play as a guest without creating an account; in that case, your progress is stored only on your device.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy within the Service.
